Sharp & Robbins one of 25 in US to achieve CMP certification

Dave Robbins Earns Highest Level of Mold Remediation Certification

Dave Robbins of Bartlett-based Sharp & Robbins Construction, LLC, recently earned the Certified Mold Professional (CMP) designation from the Restoration Industry Association (RIA). This is the highest achievement awarded to mold remediation professionals in the cleaning and restoration industry.

Robbins is one of only twenty-five Certified Mold Professionals in the U.S. “These individuals have shown their commitment to making it better for their clients regarding their indoor environments and the issues that can affect them and their health,” said Michael Pinto, the CMP certification adviser.

CMP certification is earned through an advanced course of study designed by the RIA, the oldest and largest non-profit trade association in the cleaning and restoration industry. Participants must complete three levels of advanced training focused on the interrelation of building systems and the factors and contaminants that affect indoor environmental quality.
